Even I was really angry when my PC used to Start very late, take a lot of time and so as you. Many times we're in urgency that we can't wait for computer to start, so we just Switch off the Monitor or Keep it on Stand By.
But now there's no need to do all the Bill making stuff , a lot of time and temper!!! Cause the solution is Right below this line...
1. System Configuration Utility.
STARTUP
This default utility helps you to Start / Stop the Programs on Windows Startup and the Programs that are running in your PC's background and even has many other uses.
* Its the most imp. option to speed up PC.
* Run > msconfig > Startup.
Uncheck all the Startup Items that you don't wan't to start at system startup.
Talking about the other useful Tabs in the System Configuration.
GENERAL
This option given you some basic options to start your computer. The default setting in General Tab will be Normal Startup. The other two options will be Diagnostic Startup & Selective Startup.
The Diagnostic Startup will use only the Default Basic Devices & Services only during the system Startup, it'll give a free and clean boot.
SERVICES
This function allows you to prevent any particular Service on your PC from starting when the PC is started.
Its useful while having trouble in any Service (service related problems).
You can uncheck the specific service that you want to Disable or Check the one you want to Enable.
But I recommend you not to Disable any Microsoft Service by Checking the Hide All Microsoft Services unless having trouble with in any of them.
TOOLS
This option helps you to Launch the System Tools that can very useful like UAC Setting, Action Center etc.

- The Selective Startup will be automatically selected when you will use Other options such as Startup or Services.
